Looking for a qualification that opens doors around the world? The ACCA Qualification is more than just a pathway into accountancy – it’s your passport to becoming a ACCA member and a future-ready career in global finance.

Designed to equip you with the latest technical knowledge and practical skills, the ACCA Qualification is globally recognised and highly respected by top employers across industries. And it also offers something other international accountancy qualifications don’t: it enables you to work in the high-growth, high-reward audit sector.

The ACCA Qualification is structured across three levels – Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills, and Strategic Professional. Each serves as an entry point tailored to a range of prior knowledge and experience, ensuring you'll start at a level that maximises your potential. If you don’t meet the minimum entry requirements for the ACCA Qualification – don’t worry – you can start with our Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) exams. Completing FIA will give you a solid grounding and allow you to progress onto the ACCA Qualification with confidence.

Not sure where to start?

Whether you’re a school leaver, a graduate (in finance or another field), a career changer, or re-starter, we offer plenty of tailored advice to help you identify your starting point and begin your ACCA journey.

Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) is a fantastic way to begin your journey into the world of finance. No matter your role or ambitions, understanding how finance works within a business is essential. It shapes decisions, drives outcomes, and plays a role in nearly every aspect of modern organisations.

FIA offers a direct route to ACCA membership if you don’t meet the minimum entry requirements for the full ACCA Qualification. Completing FIA's ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4) allows you to progress straight onto the ACCA Qualification.

But FIA is more than just a pathway. It’s a globally respected set of qualifications designed to build real-world finance skills – ideal for roles like accounting technician, finance assistant/trainee and bookkeeper. Whether you're starting out or building experience, FIA helps you grow your career.

It’s also flexible – take one qualification or follow the full pathway depending on your ambitions. But if you’re new to finance or have no formal qualifications, we recommend starting at Level 2.

FIA suits absolute beginners and finance workers seeking certification.

The first level of exams is designed for individuals without any formal qualifications or knowledge of finance, while later levels are entry points for those already working in accountancy and finance, but without any formal qualifications.
