Education evaluation
To aid your job hunt, sit for the CPA exam or continue your education at another college or university in the United States, you may want to obtain an evaluation of your qualifications by a foreign credential evaluation organization.
There are several education evaluation services that you can contact to review your education. A listing of foreign credential evaluation services are listed through the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services website (NACES) website. ACCA members and future members have utilized the following organizations in the USA:
Depending on the purpose of your education evaluation, some evaluation organizations are the preferred organization. Check with the State Board of Accountancy or educational institute to help determine which evaluation organization to choose. To assist with selecting a foreign credential evaluation service, the NAFSA: Association of International Educators has developed a useful guide.
When seeking an education evaluation, we recommend that you submit a copy of the ACCA syllabus with your application, as well as information concerning ACCA’s Recognition. Completion of the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills modules of the ACCA Qualification provides the opportunity for students to apply for a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Accounting awarded by Oxford Brookes University. If you are an ACCA student and wish to continue your education in the United States while seeking a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a US accredited institution, we have many partnerships with universities that will allow you to earn a degree and gain ACCA exemptions. For our members, universities in the USA will not grant credit towards completed ACCA coursework. There are no expedited routes of study for ACCA members.
